NEW YORK, NY – August 22, 2022 – Verada is pleased to announce the retail space for Boris & Horton to bring their pet-friendly cafe to 510 Driggs Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The space is approximately 2,600 square feet and the asking rent was $165/SF. Verada’s Nathaniel Mallon and Brendan Thrapp represented the landlord, Northlink Capital, in the deal and Compass’ Steven Clair represented the tenant.

The space will be used to house Boris & Horton, a fun community space and dog-friendly cafe. Given the competitive retail market post-pandemic, many spaces are looking for ways to add a unique edge. Many consumers are now looking for companies that will serve their needs and even their pets’ needs. Boris & Horton provides exactly that. They host adoption events, parties and more while serving a great selection of coffee and food. They will offer a full menu including locally roasted coffee, delicious food and alcohol.

In addition to being a great place to eat, drink and create content with your furry friend, Boris & Horton has also raised thousands of dollars for local animal rescues including Muddy Paws Rescue, Hearts & Bones Rescue & More.

Its growth is not only in its societal presence but is poised to rapidly expand within the NYC market and beyond. Boris & Horton just closed a Series A fundraising round with a list of investors that includes UBS America’s Chairman Robert Wolf’s 32 Ventures among others.
