Met Fresh signed a 20-year lease for 14,000 square feet at 67-09 Fresh Pond Road.
NYC sushi chef Cheng Lin brings omakase concept to Brooklyn
Lin has achieved his dream by opening his own sushi omakase restaurant Shota Omakase in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood.
Verada Managing Partner Brendan Thrapp represented Shota Omakase and the landlord, Two Trees, on the deal.
“The location was a perfect fit based on the higher-end residential units and office product coming on the market and other successful restaurants in the immediate area,” Thrapp said via email. “The concept is higher-end and focuses on an intimate experience, which many residents in Williamsburg crave."
Verada Launches Retail Leasing At 10726 SW 7th Street in Sweetwater
Verada announced the launch of retail leasing at 700 SW 7th Terrace in Sweetwater, Florida. Located at the base of Terrazul, a new 22-story student housing development situated near Florida International University (“FIU”), the premier retail space offers 15,442 square feet for lease with 22-foot-high ceilings and 254-feet of wraparound frontage.
The retail listing marks Verada’s expansion into the South Florida commercial real estate market as the company aims to provide unparalleled services to both retail landlords and tenants in the area.
Verada expands services to Connecticut - starting with Retail at Square 10
Verada is expanding its services outside New York starting with the Retail at Square 10 in New Have, CT.
The Square 10 project located at 275 S Orange St, former Coliseum site, offers a total of 12,500 SF of commercial retail space, divided into three distinct areas, with over 9,000 SF located at the corner of George and Orange St.
The project is in its early stages with the retail component projected to be completed in fall of 2024.

Mallon’s deal was recognized by the Real Estate Board of New York as the Commercial Sales Brokers Most Ingenious Deal of the Year at an awards ceremony Wednesday night at a Convene space in Murray Hill.

Nathaniel Mallon of Verada brokered the deal on behalf of Brooklyn Brewery, a brand that was struggling to find a space in its namesake borough for its kettles and tasting room.
Mallon won first place for the deal.
“Everyone had a win in this deal and that’s how we got it across [the New York City Planning Commission], zoning people, the landlord, the banks, the tenant,” Mallon said during remarks.
Rock Spot Climbing announces new Connecticut location
A climbing and bouldering gym, Rock Spot Climbing has seven locations in New England and is adding 44 Olive St. in New Haven to that count.
“I think it is a great fit for the building, which already includes amenities such as a large pool, courtyard and fitness center but also Wooster Square and New Haven as a whole,” said Brendan Thrapp, managing partner of Verada. “Rock Spot will definitely attract climbing lovers young and old to an already incredible neighborhood.”
